Great piece on, well, how to write a Wikipedia article. Some of the comments are fair, namely that if you’re unlucky your article will be considered unnotable, or badly referenced. From my experience, finding corners with vast gaps can help (in my case, New Zealand music), proving notability in some way according to the guidelines (for the music case, the songs/albums must have charted in the Top 40), and generally having as many references as you can find also help.
